Working out pro rata salary

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me!
I currently work 3 days a week (21 hours) and my annual salary is £19000 I am looking to drop to 2 days a week (14 hours) can anybody tell me what my new annual salary will be.

I have tried to work it out but would like my figures confirmed!

    £19,000 for 5 days' work is £3800/day.
    3 days' work is therefore 3x£3800 = £11,400
    2 days' work is therefore 2x£3800 = £7,600

    Unless you meant you earn £19000 for just 3 days' work. In which case it's £6333/day, so your new salary would be £12,666.

    Thanks, yes it is £19k for 3 days I know I am very lucky - hoping to kick back a bit now tho and spend some more time with the kids!
