  • Hi all,

Thank you for you congratulations, I've got to find the birth certificate first or get a copy of it.

The Grand Canyon does appeal to me the most, unusual and not 'tacky' if that makes sense.

Back from meeting my support worker, not too keen on that org, I had to buy my own drink! She's going to talk to the pool hall about having the lift on when I go, and let me know details of another social group (going to the cinema, going to look around local places and stuff, I'll be able to choose the less tiring ones), chase up the travel trainers, and speak to the guy who runs the exercise group. He also does the pool group so I can talk to him there. He's a qualified personal trainer and he'll be able to sort out a simple, easy exercise programme. So things are shaping up quite well, lots of activites for me to do without pressure so I can build up stamina and things.

And last night I bought a few disability aids. I've ordered a pedal exerciser thing to use at home, a thing for pulling zips up, gel cushion insole things, and an electric cheese grater. I tried to order things for putting on tights, a long handled sponge and some things for pulling plugs out easier, but that site wouldn't accept my card.

I'm getting annoyed, that was twice in two days it was declined because of it being a debit mastercard, it's supposed to be accepted in more places than my old maestro but it's not.

I was telling sister about the Betfair quidco cashback, and it seems we're all wrong about cashback, it doesn't work how we think it does, it's just a sneaky way for you to have all your money taken by unscrupulous businesses. Hmm. Oh well, her loss.

Just had a small fish and chips for tea, going to have a nap now before my drum lesson.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I was just thinking in my, nothing in the glass, kind of way about what happens if he stands me up. I'll be left sitting in a pub 200 miles from home. Having said that the beer is good. I am planning on not seeing too much of Paisley :rotfl:
