help with xslm report

Hi,
I'm working with a new MS company that wants me to use a report using .xslm file.I'm not too sure what I'm doing.I can open it with open office.org but I'm struggling to fill in the boxes as the information either doesnt fit or numbers keep changing.I printed out the questionaire as a word document no problem but I'm stuck now.Can anyone tell me what programme to use to open and use the report without getting all the errors.Thanks in advance.
