in Debt-free wannabe
I have recently checked my credit report (for the 1st time) and noticed a CCJ that was put on in June 2005. What will happen if I am unable to pay it

    Do you think it is money you owe?

    Did you get the paperwork to challenge it?

    I kn ow it sounds awful but it was ages back and I dont have any paperwork for it. I am sure I had arranged to make monthly repayments for the debt, but after I had sent back that letter I never heard anymore. I could probably scrape the cash together to pay it. How long does it take to leave my report?

    No it won't stay on your report after 6years but you will still owe the money.
