Ruby Anniversary - ideas please

It's my parents' Ruby Anniversary this September, and I'm trying to think of something nice to give / do for them.
They don't like big parties & fuss etc, so a personal gift / experience would be nice.
So far I'm thinking a nice love spoon for mum & a Ruby port for dad.
Anyone got any ideas?

My mum and dads 40th was this weekend! I've spent the last 4 months raiding their photo collection (without them knowing) and scanned them all into the computer.
Then I used photobox to create a 100 page book with them all. It was all in order and I had their wedding, honeymoon, birth of all 3 kids, every holiday, random growing up pics. Then towards the back I had my 21st, my engagement, my brothers 30ths and my brothers kids
They loved it as it's all their favourite pics in one bookGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -
That's such a lovely idea!
Unfortunately I live in London but they live in Wales, so it'll be difficult for me to go raiding, but I might scan my own digi's for ideas0 -
Bumpity bump bump.

For OH's Mum and Dad's ruby anniversary we got them a photo portrait done of him, his sis and his kids (i.e. all their kids and grandkids). They were chuffed to bits and it still adorns the wall in their living room. We also bought a rose bush called 'Ruby Wedding' from Focus or the like which was very inexpensive.0

and what sort of budget?
To be honest, I like the spoon and port idea - there are some lovely ports out there and they don't cost a fortune! Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -

How about a hamper with port (ruby, I guess - although I prefer Tawny!), the love spoon and maybe some things that are "typically welsh"?

(top end of your budget, but some lovely walks)
