Anyone get any good deals from them lately??
As a FTB buyer my boyfriend and i were all set with this fabric sofa from another company. When we added on the fabric protection cover (for stains etc) the total came to £1500, we were prepared to pay this. A 3 corner/1 corner. We had to pay £35 for delivery and no payment plans existed, APR was like 12% and you had to start paying right away.
So today we got a really good deal from DFS, a 4 corner leather sofa, with the deal im sure most have seen. No payments for the 1st year, then 2 years paying it off at 0%...The 0% totally shocked me, i have never seen many products with 0%. Delivery was free and you can pay lump sums off or settle early with no penalities. Best of all its original price was £1995 and it was discounted 1st and then again, now at £1375.
Sorry for the long post, just really pleased with finding a great sofa at a good price, was dreading not being able to afford something so nice for our 1st house.

Blimey it sounds like dfs have a sale on i may go and camp out to get a bargain.
sorry diamond for that its an ongoing joke in my house about dfs sales, they are as regular as mfi sales, ignore the "double double savings ending this weekend" price which is never to be repeated, if you like the sofa and your happy to pay it then go for it, but dont feel pressured into buying it cos the "sale ends soon"
all the best

My DFS sofa (2.5 years old) had partially collapsed. I decided to take a look at the problem myself. I took off the material covering the underneath of the sofa and saw the problem straight away - several screws were missing (and had never been fitted). The thing that really surprised me was the rude message that was written in pencil on one of the wooden cross-members!! Not to worry, 'cos DFS quality control had made an attempt at crossing it out!

I have had my dfs leather corner sofa for nearly a month now - and its very good -we bought it for £788 on a mega sale ending tomorrow - 4 months on its still on a must end tomorrow sale!!! We have nought the extra cover too which i hope will save us one day if need be. I have one issue with the sofa - if you sit in a particular place it feels like you are sitting on something - getting annoying and i want to phone dfs - but scared they'll take it away and leave us without a sofa for weeks - or months as they are meant to be made to order - we waited 11 weeks.0

bought a dfs sofa a couple of years ago and it was cr*p collapsed after 18 months total rubbish, i would not buy again be warned!!!have heard loads of bad reports from other people too0

We bought our sofa from DFS 12 years ago on the sale finishes tomorrow, nothing to pay for 12 months and then 0% interest!
I have to say though the sofa is still going strong apart from the fabric on one of the arms, we have been very pleased with the quality, although I don't know what they are like 12 years down the road.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
We bought two, two seaters from DFS 6 years ago and they are still as good as new these weren't in the sale at that time and I feel that £850 per sofa was alot back then but considering they have lasted I can't complain.
