up to 70% off at superdrug

I visited two superdrugs today and found they had posters in the windows saying up to 70% off certain products.

I bought dove hair masks for 49p each. As well as a couple of brands of shampoo. I forget which ones.

I did use my 10% voucher off as well :rotfl:

  • "70% off" what price? That's what you need to ask when you pop in! The 49p hair stuff is good value, but the 70% doesn't refer to this, and the 70% is based on what we like to call an 'established price.' ;)

Never heard it called established price thing you are thinking of the RRP which I know is a load of old pants. And never believe it anyway.

But 49p for the Dove hair mask which normally sell for £1.70ish is still a bargain when even compared to own brands.

Don't think I said it was 70% off the hair mask said there suppose to be things up to 70% off. You need to do your own research to see if the prices are 70% off

Case of DYOR which I thought that was rather obvious to all established Moneysavers.

Our local store (Torquay, union street) had all its Christmas cards, decorations, hair bits etc reduced to 10p!! Picked up a few card packs and also so decorations which will be great for making things out of.
They also had the "70% sale" on but nothing worth writing about really but I know it varies a lot between stores.
:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A

Our Superdrug is having a household clearance, with at least 50% off. I bought 20 metre foil at 29p and 48 Glist tablets at 99p.
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
  • Our Superdrug closed down last week:mad:

However our spare room now resembles it!!!!:rotfl:

Medium Xmas gift bags for 1p (they said they were 20p but girl on till scanned them and thats what the till said). Lovely necklaces for 10p which also went through the till at 1p. Hair accessories were going for 10p each plus loads more stuff.

Just need Xmas to come now so that I can get rid of my stock for the January sales.
