Putting house on market - how to make it sparkle??

    Make sure the front door is nice, with a doormat outside and polished brasswork if you have any. Clean the windows and make sure they sparkle inside and out. Place books on shelves in height order and don't have every shelf full if you have shelves. Arrange knick knacks in odd numbers, and don't have any 'personal' stuff around like pictures of or by children as apparently it puts people off!
    Let them through the door before you and try to say nothing much!

    Get rid of ornaments, holiday bits and bobs, photos. Have every surface clear. Get rid of toys for the few weeks you are trying to sell. Kitchen and Bathroom are main selling points of houses, make sure they sparkle over anything else.

    Have been and bought stardrops today, went to wilkinsons but had no so popped over the road to saver and grab 2 bottles! Have done units in kithcen and they look lovely! Now gonna do every door in the house. Think I have a busy few days ahead of me!!

    Oh well back to painting....
