Hi,
We are looking to move home, The home we like is £255,000 and we would be putting £30000 down from the sale of our own. We are with loyds at the moment with a £140,000 interest only and the other £14,000 repayment, total £154,000 on the SVR 2.5%. Loyds is offering the top up on the other £71,000 on a repayment at 5.99% which I think is steep.
Can anyone give me advice on this, I.e better options or are we better trying to haggle a bit with loyds as most of the mortgage is on 2.5% variable.
Thanks
Clelly
