what an interesting website, thanks twink. I have a big lavender in the garden and thought I would have a go at the lavender wand. Does anyone know where to get cheap ribbon? I like to get things from charity shps/ car boots but ahve never noticed ribbon. Perhap because I have not looked?

Hi Prudent - sometimes charity shops and car boots do have ribbon, but not that often in my experience. Do you have any local craft shops? Mine sells a good variety of ribbon from about 20p per metre depending on pattern/thickness/style. Also oldstyle haberdashery shops will have good price ribbon - I often get from there too.
