We bought one some years ago and I can't even remember the name as we didn't use it after a neighbour told me it had been going off when we were out - no idea why. BUT, I have noticed that they seem to have some good ones in Wilkinson's and these days they include a pad for your code number. Ours didn't, we turned it off as we approached the house by means of a fob like a car alarm fob. Ours probably does still work its just that we know we need some batteries for the indoor room infra-reds and haven't got around to getting them. Our worked by energy stored in the box outside from sunlight e.g. sonar (I think).0

The link given showed me that ours is, in fact, a Response Alarm. Looks like they are the main ones in the wireless market. Must have a go at ours again.0 -
