send it back 'does not live here return to sender' and keep doing it.

Emmzi's right. Return the letter stating not at this address. Don't give in to their tactics and certainly don't try and engage with them by phone.
Do you know, there have been so many posts reporting this problem recently with DCAs trying speculative approaches to finding the people they are after. What's happening??!?Debt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

they said they would alter their records ect ect but i recieved a further three letters just kept sending them back not known at this address then i moved so no idea if they still sending them..

I had the same for my mum who lives in spain, sent it back, got 5 more. So then I emailed them and said that if they made contact with me again that I would do them for harassment, low and behold a week later they turned up on my door step and wanted to see a passport, a utility bill and tenancy agreement to prove I was who I was  They then went and knocked on every door in my row to find out where my mum was, and that I was who I was :mad:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

It was very embarrasing, all my neighbours came round to tell me what they were doing. They did let on that they were a debitor but not what my mum owed or who too.
It was only for about £10 or so as well :rolleyes:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

So, did you show them? I think I'd have been particularly unhelpful at this point.
Passport? No, I haven't got one. Utility bills? No, sorry, I chuck 'em in the bin. Tenancy agreement? Sorry, what's that? I'm not sure what you mean.
Then I'd have let them watch me go to the pub. :beer:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I had two kids biting my ankles, I didnt have the time to be akward, although normally I would be. Just took my time getting them while they were outside in the rainWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
