Good for you!!!hi again thanks for your replys, i do understand, the better girl won lol, i was just a bit up set off it all, just seemed unfair, any way turns out the girl needs a job now and doesnt want to wait till september to start, so has resigned already, even tho she new she would have to have cbr sent for which takes weeks n weeks lol, the head teacher phoned me and asked me if id like to take the job, well im sorry but i said no, i told her i felt it was an unfair interview told her the reasons, and i wasnt good enough for the job last week then i certaintly aint now!! so still job hunting for me, :rotfl:0 -
I think it should be up to the person on the panel to declare an "interest". Personally I wouldn't say anything. It's a job interview not a jury and sometimes these things happen. If it is public sector there are several rules about interviews so I very much doubt your history could be taken into account. Go in, give it your best shot, and hope they offer you the position.
Good luckMSE aim: more thanks than posts :j0 -
That seems a slightly short-sighted attitude to me, fine if you're in no hurry to find a job, but there can be all kinds of reasons why the 'first choice' declines or changes their mind, and the 'second choice' wasn't necessarily 'not good enough', just not 'the best we saw that day'.hi again thanks for your replys, i do understand, the better girl won lol, i was just a bit up set off it all, just seemed unfair, any way turns out the girl needs a job now and doesnt want to wait till september to start, so has resigned already, even tho she new she would have to have cbr sent for which takes weeks n weeks lol, the head teacher phoned me and asked me if id like to take the job, well im sorry but i said no, i told her i felt it was an unfair interview told her the reasons, and i wasnt good enough for the job last week then i certaintly aint now!! so still job hunting for me, :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
