  • why all the excitement?
when it was normal to shop for these things, mini hi-fis etc. most consumers used to ignore the samsung ones because they were always the cheap looking plastic garish ones on the shelf! i mean, have you seen these up close?
there is a reason its only £25.00

It may not look great, and I wouldnt pay £80 for it. But if you are on a real tight budget, or want a present for young children, or in the shed etc.. then you cant really compian.

Personally, I wouldnt let it replace the kit that I have, but there are instances when cheap is good.
    Be nice

The image isn't showing on the Tesco site, now!
Also gives a warning that they "may need to cancel your order".

Isn't that nice of them to let us know....!?
 That window's cracked on both sides!!
  • Mine arrived today.
I have set it up in my bedroom to listen to some "romantic music" while I fall asleep!!!

The sound is of very good quality, and it looks a lot more expensive than 24.99!!
    Regards

    Ideal for the garage!
I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!
  • Woud this be OK as a main living room hifi for a couple of pensioners? Bit of classical not too much Iron Maiden... They are using a boombox at the moment.
  • Erm, my mum received delivery this morning (the unit was for her), I went to go and set it up and inside the box is only the speakers! Having a look at the outside of the box, it does indeed say "speaker units for MAXJ530" clearly on it.

Did everyone else receive two separate packages, one for the speakers and one for the main unit?

Going to have to give them a ring in a minute it would appear.

They have closed the electrical site as they stated on the website that they were going to.

It looks like they're changing supplier or starting to run it themselves - they were using a 3rd party to run their electrical online shop up until now, that's why the online stuff and the shop stuff weren't usually the same.
