spotify invite code

I've asked before, but no-one seems to know.

Why would I need an invite to Spotify, what does it get me that I don't already get simply by signing up for the free 20 hours a week?

Unlimited music with occasional advertisements. So no 20 hour limit.

That's been scrapped now. The free version give 10 hours of music and you can only listen to each song 5 times.

So, if I get invited I get 10 hours a week free. If I simply sign up without an invite I get 20 hours a week free. Hmmm, tough decision....

Except that I have already signed up, without an invite and get my 20 hours. Surely there must be some benefit to getting an invite?

shame i use to love it but not enough to pay for it

Invites do nothing now. Anybody can sign up on the website. Invites were only for when sign up was restricted. New sign ups get 20 hours of music for a while and then it goes back to 10 hours.

According to spotify the open (free) spotify entitles you to 10 hours a month and a maximum of 5 plays per song. The old terms were the 20 hour limit. As for the invite that gives you unlimited. @cifcdano or @wellsy89 I would much appreciate an invite as I cant live with new terms and at the moment cant afford premium.

It's just 10 hours now if your on free. If you want unlimited you have to pay. They got rid of the unlimited free version. It's now just 10 hours or pay.
