Hi Everyone.
Not posted in a while but i always pop in every night to read and catch up.
The Good news,
I have the funds for BR!! Yaaayyyy
Going to do it in August though as we have just been given another 18 months AST. And i want to get BR over and done with in this house.
The Bad News.
Just been told i need an operation. Kinda expecting it but still cheesed off about it.
Trying to put it off till last thing this year or next as it requires up to 6 months off work.
So i am hitting the gym, losing some weight and getting fit.

hi CG
good news on the funds...phew!
i'm sorry to hear about the operation....it's always tough when you have to take quite a bit of recovery time off, it never seems to be the right time for it. don't put it off if it needs doing though...your health is the most important thing
take care x0 -
Hello CG, I wondered where you were. I glad you have the funds now and agree with Confused, your health is the most important......your putting me to shame going to the gym!! Best wishes and do take care xx"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Hey CG good to see you back we've missed you!
superb news about the fees.....health is more important above anything else although know how you feel about the upcoming surgery my consultant has been going on about knee replacements now for a fair while always beaten it off but know damn well i've no choice!!
Take care buddie...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Thanks everyone, you have made me smile!!!
Were in the same sort of area philnicandamy, i need a triple fusion in my left ankle.
Even the description sounds painful.
Been going to the gym for a couple of weeks now 4 times a week. I have a six pack, its just buried under some light flubber!!0 -
Six pack?.....I see myself more as carrying a "party 7" (if your old enough to remember!)
the 6mnths off your feet is a killer though....they're quoting that for me along with some ankle surgery as well thrown in....and I HATE being stuck without car etcWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
OK Phil & CG...you can stop comparing your 6 packs/party7 `s now:D
Sorry to hear about the operation CG but sooner done the better I think. Good news on getting the fees together though.
Take care & if you are off your feet a while we could always do with a barman in the Inn you know:D:beer::beer:
