Mountain Bike Rider magazine and Science in Sport have teamed up to offer 3,000 readers the chance to sample an SIS energy bar. If you are one of the first 3,000 readers to respond to us with the completed online form below, we will send you an SIS Go Bar worth 99p in the post completely free! Please note only one application per household permitted.
The Go Bar is an alternative to confectionery and fast food - ideal for athletes and people with active lifestyles.
GO~BAR's contain less than 2g of fat per big 65g bar and will give your body a healthier choice that really is a break from the norm. Never has healthy food tasted so good yet been packed with so much carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals.
Never has fast food tasted so good and been so nutritious. Approximately 15% of the calories are derived from protein and over 70% from carbohydrate. Carbohydrate is delivered from several sources including oats, rice, corn and real fruit to provide a consistent energy release, the oats also provide a good source of soluble fibre.
The bar is fortified with vitamins and minerals to be in balance with its energy content. The apple and blackcurrant flavoured bar has over 80% of the calories from carbohydrate whilst the chocolate orange flavoured bar has added MCT's (medium chain triglycerides) from coconut oil. The MCT's provide an extra, easily used energy source for those ultra endurance athletes. Available in Chocolate/Orange, Apple/Blackcurrant, Chewy Banana, Cherry Vanilla and NEW Tropical Fruit flavours.
