    Not always. We have some staff (casuals, I know) who are paid at the end of May for work done in April. It's the only way I can run the system when they all work irregular and unpredictable hours.

    we are definately paid in mid june for work 1st may - end of may.

    he walked out because we have all been really unhappy there for a few months now with the way that the business is run.
    we voiced our opinions to the boss but he refused to accept that there was a problem and added yet more demands of us.

    he walked out simply because he couldnt handle the pressure any more.
