Hi,
I have just been offered a loan for debt consolidation on nationwide. It said that they were sending the documentation to my address, does this mean as long as I can prove that I wasnt lying about my income etc. that it has been accepted or are they still likely to pull the rug?
Thanks

Ive just checked my experian report and i was searched when i applied so Im guessing that is good. Also, I said my take home was 100£ more than it has been before because im expecting my tax code to have been changed (from emergency to normal) by this payroll, will i likely get resistance because of this?

Hi there,
It is quite normal for a lender to ask for confirmation of income to check affordabilty of loan applciations. If you have any confirmation you can send in this would aid your applicationBest Regards

I have confirmation of me earning 100 less than i should be, ive been paying emergency tax for a year without realising :S. I guess if i send them my payslip with a note, highlighting how much tax i have been paying.
If the credit check has been done, does that basically mean I just have to prove that what i have said is true etc. No more checks?

I would let them do the application with the figures you are paid at the moment, and give them the supporting documentation you have. After affordability, as long as credit scoring is not an issue, should be fine.Best Regards
