RBS and CAPONE on DMP

Hi

About to start on a DMP with payplan my main debt is with RBS (ashamed to say over 20k) Consisting of Loan, ODs and cc and a smaller amount 1.5k on cap one.

Just wondering if anyone has an existing DMP with any of them and was wondering how it has gone.

My payment t payplan which hasnt started yet is very low in comparison to my debt so was worried about the consequences of that.

Any stories good or bad would be greatly apreciated as would like to know hat i am getting myself into.

hi i am on a dmp with payplan 12mths now one of my creditors is cap1 they accepted my offer ,heard nothing from them yet,i do not know what rbs are like hope this helps

Hi, after 2 months of chasing them up, kept saying they hadn't received my paperwork!, RBS have agreed to my DMP with CCCS.

To be fair they have always been courteous and I haven't had much hassle off them and I've got a loan, cc's and an OD.

Hi Freshstart!
I'm just about to embark on my own DMP - letters and 1st cheques written today.
I'm panicking like a panicky thing and one of my creditors is Capital One.
However, after reading posts on the DMP mutual suport thread, I'm not feeling so sick... have you had a read on there as well?
I'll subscribe to your thread and will see how we both get on!!

Sorry not been on for a while. Been on nights. Hope everything ok with you. I have now made my first payment to payplan and they have put in offers but not heard anything yet.

I started my DMP begining of this month, and just like you constantly worried about the phone calls, court letters and the like, but to be honest, it has been fine. I have no experience of RBS, but Cap One were the first to accept and have even stopped interest (for now!).

Made my first payment to payplan on the 28th May and RBS CCs have accepted still waiting to find out re loan and odraft but good news so far. :j

I self administered my DMP with both. No issues. Had a bit of a run in with Cap 1 but nothing drastic.

Thought i would give you a quick update on my progress so far.

First payment was made to payplan on the 28th May straight away RBS CCs accepted the offers but have not said anything about interest so just waiting for statement.

Received a letter from CAP one and they have also accepted the offer but again no mention of interest. I know a few people on here have had problems with them but they have not rang or written nasty letters just received an acceptance letter!!:T

Now just waiting for RBS Loan and Odraft as not heard anything from them letter wise did receive a few calls at the beginning but nce i explained i was with payplan the calls stopped so maybe they will send me to DCA as the have with Teds. Will let you know when i hear from them.
