I've had a pretty rubbish week. Car broke down Monday morning, cannot be fixed, Car ins cancelled my policy as I missed one months payment, husband got stopped by the police asking why he had no ins on his car, had to spend £80 to get a new policy as old one wouldn't reactivate it. Recieved a letter from mortgage people threatening repossession of house, sorted it out so pay a certain amount every month extra, sent letters to Halifax CC and Capital One for refund of bank charges, Abbey took yet another £220 from my bank yesterday even though I accept that as a partial settlement, which has now left me with £2.97 for a family of four with no food in cupboard and no bus fare for a month!!! Thanks Shabbey!!!
So no, not a good week!!
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:

Wow what a mixed bunch of good and bad things.

My week has been pretty good.
Spend 3 days at head office (based at home 4 hours away) staff was so nice to me and the boss is impressed.
Sold 1 book on Amazon cost me £3.10 to post so 40pence loss:mad:
Listed 12 items on Ebay ready to go today and tomorrow on the 10 pence lising day. All summer clothes so hopefully the sun will come out or I will not sell anything.
Off to sunny Spain tomorrow, 4 days paid for by my company and we don't have to do any work out there.
Lost 3lb last week but don't think I will have lost anything this week.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Yes, not bad, thanks.

    - Became debt free after years of struggling (First step in new life plan).
    - Re-jigged my budget and got the good folks here to review it and advise.
    - Joined Quidco and Pigsback and have been clicking like a loon.
    - Passed my first A level in over 25 years! (Second step in new life plan).
    - Looked at my list of things to do over the summer and have done more than half (decluttering, cleaning, sorting out finances, etc.).

Yes, all in all, my glass is more than half full ... and this evening I'm going out for the first time in months, so my glass will hopefully be refilled a time or two!
