Lamost paid of Lloyds, now they're lumping charges on quick and fast!

Hi, almost at the end of my DMP with CCCS, now this:

-got a letter from CCCS in April saying Lloyds had refused renewal of plan (only 2 payments to go!)
-phoned Lloyds and they said it had been renewed and all was ok to make next 2 payments and close account (current a/c), so though was all ok....
-last week got letter from Lloyds saying my overdraft had lapsed and were charging my £60 fees, told them about previous points but to no avail
-Lloyds escaltated my query to a complaint.

What can I do here?!? Am I stuck paying the £60 even though I was told all was ok by Lloyds??? The balance was only £56!!! Now ~£110!!

Am so angry at them, none of the different collections depts talk to each other!!! Any advice based on experiences???

Thanks!

Towards the end of a DMP you do sometimes find extra charges etc are added.
Frustrating as it is I think probably they only thing you can try is to write and ask them to reconsider.

Thanks Tixy- I've ask to make a complaint but not confident the person I spoke to will actually register it. Have called the FOS too, but they said wait 8 weeks for a resolution; this isn't good though as I was due to pay the debt off next month!

Also, is it sensible to pay pay off the whole amount owing (inc the charges), or will that make it look like I accept the charges later on when the complaint is being sorted??

i would refuse to pay them! I hate Ltsb - they are evil!! Write a letter quoted all you have told us. Write to the FOS and let them sort it.

It would seem the easy thing to just pay them the bloody 110 quid as that will be it finished and you can then get on. Its up to you really

sorry im not much help, i just hate Lloyds that much!! he he he
