Loan application form help
Options
Hi,
My partner earns approx double my income and all the bills are paid from a joint account. In reality I probably pay about 25% of all bills from my income. If I apply for a loan in my name only what do I put on the form under outgoings ?. i.e.
If the mortgage is £800 a month do I put £800, £400 ( split equally ), £266 ( my share based on income) or £200 ( based on what I actually pay ) ?.
Thanks.

put what you actually pay.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
You put say for example if your name is on the rental agreement you would put the whole rent as that is what you would be responsible for if for any reason your partner is unable to pay. If any agreement has your name on it you are responsible for the full amount therefore that is what you would put down. Hope that helps!0

The whole amount of everything is nearly double what I earn, so who would give me a load then ?.0 -
I guess they try to take into account the worst possible scenario and if you are still able to make your payments then they feel you can afford it.0

if you apply in the bank - they should put the full mortgage/rent and council tax commitment, regardless of what you pay - as you are individually liable regardless of how you split it currently
if you apply online, what you key is on your back0
