JSA - Signing Off

Hi

I know this has most likely already been asked but I couldn't find anything using the search.

I was just wondering, when you sign off jsa, are the payments made up until you let them know you're starting work or until you actually start work?

From memory it's up until you actually start working, but I'd have to check.

Up to and including the day before you start. If you start on a Monday then make the last day a Sunday (rather than the Friday like many people used to assume)

Yup, you're paid up until the day before you start work. You're free to go in and sign off at any time that suits you really, you won't lose out financially. Make sure you put the day before your start date as the last day, not the current date obviously
