Help needed proof of debt!!!!

Hi looking for some help please, excuse if I waffle. My daughter had her own business until late 2008, she had a business loan with RBS, which she paid until she had to close the shop leaving a balance from originally £5000 down to £500, but she had organized an overdraft over the phone which they put the limit up to £5000 and she was at the limit. They have been chasing a figure of over £6000 for over twelve months but cannot send her any details with this amount in writing - they have now passed the debt onto Robinson Way and they have sent her a letter over the weekend with what they constitute has proof of the debt ( a statement with the original loan on with the ending balance of £500) and a demand to come to some arrangement to a balance of £6000 plus within the next ten days - and they have also said on the phone they will be sending people round to her house - she is worried sick and she is only working 14 hours at the moment, where does she go from here? I'm sure they can't ask people to repay a sum and not produce the figures? thanks for reading.

They have failed to provide proof, a statement showing £500 and a demand for £6000 do not add up.
So she already had a big overdraft i assume about £5000, they let her add the £500 loan to it and will interest has since hit £6000, before going to debt collectors.
However if she knows she owes this money she should start looking at finding an affordable figure to start paying it back in instalments, if you borrow money they will make you pay it back even if it requires a CCJ. Only with a CCJ can they enforce payment with bailiffs,

You should still send the prove it letter - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=11570893&postcount=2

If it is just an overdraft you cannot do a CCA request.

With regards to sending people to the house these are just debt collectors not bailiffs, they have no more rights than a postman. And you can retract those rights. In most instances no one turns up as they just want you to be in so they can ring you, much cheaper than sending someone out. Under OFT guidelines they must make an appointment before sending someone out so if you refuse they must not send anyone. These letters here details how to stop visits and phone calls - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1837507

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
