Holly.. that is probably why she knew to ring you and not her batty mother when she hurt herself!!! Is she bothering to slim into the bridesmaid dress or did she tell her mother to sod off?
DS now has a clean and tidy bedroom, window cleaned, wall next to window no longer mildewy (his room is really bad for that), missing things found including rulers - he had lost his so borrowed mine and then that never returned. Carp shifted.
In true Valli style though there is a heap of clothes to sort through - his job;). Changed bed and duvet cover too as am itching to fill my washing lines, it's so beautiful out there! But that's one less job for tomorrow!

Thank you Honey Bear0 -

Pigpen it was her other Daughter she told to slim into the dress an no she hasn't.:p She couldn't have come even if she did phone her yesterday as she lives about 150 miles away.
I saw it was the other daughter.. good on her for not giving in to her mothers nuttyness lol.. Is 150 miles not quite far enough?
I am glad her arm is looking ok though and will heal well! Tiddles burned her hand when she was very very small and she has the tiniest scar on her little finger.. it does heal very quickly once it gets going.. it just looks vile in the meantime! I think with minor burns they look worse to start with but heal very quickly, grazes are so much worse.. they are awful for scarring and look nasty for ages! DD1 still has scarring on her face from a graze 8 years ago!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I desperately want to, but if word gets out its pretty obvious who its come from IYSWIM. The source would lose his job for DPA breach. That doesnt even compare to the safety of kids I know, but its still a dilemma. I felt physically sick walking to school this morning. His house backs onto the playing field, where our kids do PE and play out at lunch
These things have a way of 'leaking' anyway.. but if he is inviting small children in I'd be having a word with the police anyway.. if he has a record for it they will have to follow it up!
I don't know. The info has come from someone who's not in that line of workI just want to go round and smack his face in, but that wont help the situation.
I know that feeling lol.. it won't help the situation but it makes you feel better
If the person is not in that line of work can you be certain their info is 100% correct though?
I'd mention it to the school.. they need to be extra vigilant of dirty old men at bedroom windows.. (we had a neighbour when DS1 was very small, used to partake in 'self pleasure' in the bedroom window... that soon stopped..)

Hiya
Just popping in to say a big hello. I've not forgotten you all I've just been mad, crazy busy with work, the universe and everything! I had a big clean here yesterday and the result reminded me how much I do prefer the place when it's tidy. Admittedly, I only cleaned because I had someone coming round today only she's not turned up so I've got myself two hours of free time! Going to do a HHC and then spend some time in the garden.
Hugs to you all xxxx0 -

Absolutely. At the minute though, I dont know if they're involved. Hoping to get more info this afternoon. If the person is not in that line of work can you be certain their info is 100% correct though?

I've:
Tidied around
put wash on the line
watered front garden pots
repotted 4 sapplings
attempted to make bread
fake tanned my legs.
Next:
15 minutes paperwork
put WM2 on
s&S bathroom and shower room
Then lunch and off to work.
I'll go see if my bread (spelt) has risen at all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi everyone.
Just decluttering an early lunch while I catch up with the thread.:D
Carlsberggal sweetie, you are not being selfish. Danny is one of your loved ones, you're naturally going to feel deep concern for him. If you were selfish, you wouldn't care a jot about the other soldiers. (((HUG)))
Jo I understand that cleaning your Gran up wasn't actually part of the carers' job, but I don't understand how anyone could in all conscience walk away and leave her in that state. Or am I missing the point? *shruggy smilie* I hope something suitable can be sorted out soon.
Valli if you want ants, you're welcome to come and help yourself from my back garden.:D
PenPen glad you're feeling a little better today. I couldn't cope with your job in a million years, even if I had my health, so I have the greatest respect for you.
Choccybix (((HUG))) what a rotten week you're having. Hel's teeth, I'd be horrified if I found out there was a pedophile living nearby – and I don't even have kids! *Shudders as horrible childhood memories briefly surface*
Holly I hope DSD's arm isn't so painful now. Her mother sounds a right piece of work! And getting a dress for her other D to slim into will do lots for her self-esteem.... I don't think!
Poohbear just stick with flying by proxy for now, mate.;)
OK, my Quorn and cucumber roll is now history; time to go and see what the arachnids have constructed while my back's been turned.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Choccybix My thoughts are with you What a horrible situation.
LW and toots thank you. I am still flying by proxy. It is great all of the work done without any of the effort.
DH managed to declutter some huge boulders from our garden yesterday. I am still trying to work out how to put pictures on here:) They are on FB.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
