    Tremendously sensible idea !

That extra little bit of money, would help us and give us more purpose

Two days a week time factor does not interfere with what other jobs one is looking for.

But what work, should people do ? Shelf stacking, Oh no ?

I know a friend who does voluntary woodland conservation, two days a week on benefits and feels he is doing some good and feels better in himself.

The criteria you have given is ideal, as long as the person wishes to do this work.

New Deal at present tries to force us to do 'Supermarket' or 'Charity Shop' placements full time for a few weeks

    Not for everyone !

Please write more about your ideas

Hopefully you work for DWP and can actually improve the system
