Chip shop pasties

I have lived in England for many years but long for a northern Irish chip shop pastie. Does anyone have a recipie that I could make at home, please.

Saw this on another forum, haven't tried it myself though!
Combine cooked sausage meat and mashed potatos. More meat that potatos also finely
chopped onion in a bowl. Add a dash of nutmeg, same of Mace, allspice, corriander, ground ginger, ground cloves. Lots of Pepper.
Mix all together and form patties then dust with flour. Freeze and when they are frozen you are ready to cook. Batter is Self Rising
flour and soda water to form a soft batter. With a spatula drop into deep fat and fry untill golden brown.Dave0 -

do you not know anyone over here who could get a couple (uncooked) from their local chippy and then post it to you next day in a cool bag of sorts? I sent my friend over ulster fry stuff that way before soda potato bread butchers stuff etc.0
