I think you'll be lucky to get change out of £100 - theres a set fee of £34 they have to pay to Environment Agency every time they lift a skip so you're starting from £34 fee and working up

  • My folks used McQuillan Skip Hire recently. But yes, all skip hire is pricey tbh

Yes interesting posts from people. Possible touting for business as I was quoted £170 for a skip from 1 forementioned company

Try Nationwide Hire (nationwidehire.co.uk). They offer skip hire nationwide (as the name suggests).

Just means you don't have to struggle with finding a local company if you are finding that a dead end task.

I'm not sure of the exact prices, but I'm sure phoning for a quote would be an idea.

if you're suggesting me then no I work in an engineering firm so no, simply recommending a company that worked well for us in work, and the reason I know about the environmental charges etc is because I do the iso 14001 Envirnomental crap in our place

  • PLEASE DO NOT DUMP YOUR STUFF.

NOT WISHING TO LECTURE YOU ON GROWING LANDFILL ETC ETC

THERE IS A FREE RECYCLING WEBSITE IN BALLYMENA CALLED 'FREEGLE' YOU CAN JOIN THE GROUP AT www.ilovefreegle.org

It is free to join, free to place an ad and you can rehome your items instead of paying the cost of hiring a skip and adding to the landfill.

Please have a look at this web site. It is really neat. You can offer absolutely anything, from A > Z...from bricks to sofa to clothes etc etc.

I hope you have a look.
