Hi new to this but wondered if anyone has any advise!
Have a joint mortgage with my partner which is coming to an end of a 5 year fixed rate.Going to the bank on monday as they think they can get us a better deal but the problem is my o/h has a terrible credit and is now paying £1 a month on most debts but have never missed a mortgage payment so are we likely to get a better deal or will I be wasting time going to bank!!!!

not enough info to go on
How much is the home worth (realistically)?
How much is owing on the mortgage?
Which lender are you with - what SVR will it go on to and what have they offered you?
Which bank are you seeing on Monday?
In summary though you'll more than likely find any high street bank will decline you straight away with the adverse credit.0
