Bingo Chat Room Managers?? help?

Options
Hi everyone,

last year one of my ex work colleagues had told me that he once worked as a chat room manager on one of these bingo websites. I would really love to do a job like this from home, but was wondering if anybody had any advice as to how to go about getting into this sort of position?

My previous colleague had told me that he had got the role through a local outsourcing company in Glasgow. However, at the moment the company in question have no roles of this nature available.

I would really appreciate any help that you could offer, perhaps some of you may know people who do this for a living? Thanks all!

do some research as i think, if memory serves me right, there was some people who applied but never ever heard back

other than this, try going into some bingo chat room and ask CM's how they got their jobs (that sounds bad, not polite, lol) but you know what i mean, also try sending email to each bingo website and ask about jobs

Thanks, I done a search on here earlier but could not find any threads specifically on this topic.

I have emailed a few bingo sites based in Scotland, so hopefully they may be able to give me some info. I was thinking of asking CM's, but I was a little worried that I would be putting them in a difficult position. Wouldn't like to get anybody into any trouble lol.

After doing a little google search I came across many recruitment type sites, but a lot of them looked rather dodgy tbh. Was really just wondering if anyone knew of any that are definitely reputable.

You can apply directly to the bingo site, of the whichcm site that was mentioned. Good Luck!

Hyped Bingo let you volunteer, which will give you the experience.

By the way, I asked a bingo CM on how to get into it, and she directed me to the whichcm site, so that must be reputable.
  • There are a number of sites where you can register your details. However I would recommend emailing Customer Services within whichever site you are applying to, and asking them to pass your details to the Bingo Chat Manager. I have worked as a Bingo Chat Moderator for 3 years - a lot of luck needed and good timing, there are at least 3000 applications for each post.

CMoftheyear often has vacancies listed for volunteer chat moderator positions- people take these posts to learn some of the skills required. This would perhaps make your application stand out a little from the huge amount of other applicants.

Many thanks for all of the really helpful advice. I received a few replies today to the various emails I sent to some sites and they just stated to forward a cv, so fingers crossed!
