Thats definatly dodgy.... they just want you to pay the "non-refundable *booking / administration charge" and then you will never hear from them again.

I've read loads about these scheme's....

I think they are called "419 scams". Have a search on google for them. Its amazing how much money these people make from then...

You have won - why, what did you enter?

Admin fee - But you won a holiday? A genuine one will not charge you anything!

Flights - you have to arrange and pay for, your own.


*IF* the stay offer is genuine (which we all doubt) then this will be at least a time share scam.

I also got a phone call this morning from them.

They told me I had won accomodation in Goa or Bali and I said "so I have to pay for the flights".

He said "yes" and I said "no thanks"!

I had another one of these a couple of months back for Tenerife.

I enter lots of competitions, but a competition win to me is for everything to be included, otherwise I do not see it as much of a win!

Just got one of these yesterday too - wasn't listening very clearly on the phone so got the email through and its a load of $%^*.

Pretty sure it was a comp on here so wouldnt be surprised if there are a few posts like this soon!

I got a call a few weeks back say "I had entered a competition and not won but have been nominated for a 1 week holiday to tenerife or Costa Brava.
I had to pay a £50 pound booking few and then go for some meeting in leeds so they could tell me about their company.
Told them i was'nt interested, another department called me back to ask If i had taken them up on there offer.
I told her I had looked into it and their company and it was'nt a offer it was a timeshare SCAM, she then slammed the phone down on me.
