selling a few old things

Options
Sorry if this is in the wrong category! I wasn't sure where to put it!

I have a couple of old kids toys such as a scooter, a pogo stick, a swingball thing, tennis rackets, badminton rackets, bikes and maybe a few other things as well. I'm not really sure where to sell them though. I don't have an eBay account or Amazon account because I don't like using that sort of thing and I have no way of getting to a car boot sale or anything like that. Does anyone have any suggestions? And roughly how much for those items as well? I'm not really sure at all :o

Thanks for any help!

The bikes may have a small value, the rest probably not. You could try the local free ads in the local paper or Gumtree (but watch the scammers).

I did think about maybe trying carboots or something if someone else would sell them for me. Do you think that would be worthwhile? Even £20 or something would be nice at the minute.
  • For stuff that is unlikely to sell you may want to have a look at freecycle rather than throw it away - I think it's still done through Yahoo groups and there is one in most areas

How about garage sales? Does this work in your community?;)
Because I always buy in garage sales and even thrift stores..
