thinking of joining a gym, any reasonably priced suggestions?

I know there have been several Gym membership threads in the past but as costs and terms change regularly maybe a new one is ok. Looking for a gym with pool would be good if it was similar price to one without. Called in at LA fitness ramada and was told arround £35 a month and 18 month contract, far too much when i might give up in a month or 2. Any one any experience of how to get a good deal somewhere close to there or in East Belfast?

I don't have but have heard good thing about breathe @ robinson centre. My sister has also join pure on bloomfield ave at a good rate.

be sure to let them no you are shoppin about and you want the best rate as in this climate they need all business.

breathe at robinson centre is the cheapest option as far as I'm aware, they usually do free passes to let you give it a try before signing up

The Mrs and the Kid go to http://flamingofitness.com/index.php, they think it's great there. The Kid pays a monthly membership but the Mrs only goes now and again so she's payg

I can't recommend any but be aware of what you join up to! Many people sign up but then want out after a few months. But they have signed up for a contract for a year or longer. Worse still many sign a finance agreement as well.

Think about what you are buying. If in doubt get a copy of terms and conditions, take it home and read the details!

You could you council facilities on per as you go basis. depend who you want to rub shoulders with!

Thanks for that, does anyone know anything about the Pure Gym at Green Pastures church in Galgorm?

It's a lot cheaper then Flamingo and no tie in on contract.

    Thanks :)
