I am thinking of starting my own buisness i might need a small buisness loan, which is the best bank to go to for one.

I would advise as first port of call your existing main banker as they will know you better than most.
If this is not an option ask your accountant for a recomendation.

You will improve your chances with a well-presented business plan whichever bank you approach.

Another factor is the amount you are asking for in relation to the total cost of the project - the more you can put in, the more likely the Bank are to lend you the rest.

Is this your main source of income or will you still have a full time job as well?

I would strongly advise getting advice from your local enterprise council first (it'll be free)

They can help you with a business plan,sometimes market research, and help you work out your start up costs and estimated cash flow for the first year. Also guide you on things like public liability insurance, and if any free training is available to help you.

I was thinking of keeping my full time job on i just work monday - thursday so i have friday saturday, and sunday, off which would give me chance to build custom up. The buisness i am thinking of doing is private hire buying a minibus for airport runs coastel etc. I usually bank with the halifax and i know that they do no buisness banking.
