I would like to take the heavy burden of grocery shopping by purchasing a shoppig trolley.
I think the 2 wheeled one is the best for now.
There are so many and prices vary, some look nice but are not very rigid.
I did see a whicker one in a charity shop with pram wheels but it has gone now !!!
How much ££ ?? Make ?? Type ?? should I opt for ??

I keep seeing so many trolleys on the streets and sold in so many shops!!
I have to be careful carrying shopping etc. now due to "Tennis Elbow" symptoms!!!Q.1>Do Shopping trolleys distribute all the weight on the wheels or does the handle take some burden???
Q.2>Do you have to stoop to pull it along ???
The ikea one is more like a sack barrow with a plastic holdall on it. Homebargains is miles away!!0 -

All I can say is make sure the wheels are big and sturdy- if your going for the tug-behind you models, I'd say stay clear if you have any arm/elbow/shoulder issues as even on the seemingly flat pavements of London with a fairly light bag of clothing (laundrette) mine would top and twist and turn as it hit every slight rise between the pavement slabs- you never notice them to walk on but OMG do those trolleys bump along on them! Go very slow, if you can borrow someone elses do but the constant twisting caused by uneven pavements could cause you alot of stress.
I had first just a set of wheels I'd fasten a bag of washing onto and then later an Ikea model which has far bigger wheels and was slightly easier but going at any speed (which I do) means the thing still lands on its side at severeal points.
I have not tried the frontward facing models but its not my style (and I have no need for one) maybe they would be a better option?0 -
You stated a good reason to reconsider - I have a small suitcase on fixed wheels & that swerves/twists too!!
I feel the 4 wheeled type would be too slow / stoop / banging feet/ankles on it!!!0
