FANTASTIC Empire Stores Bargains - Wow!

Ooh just when I thought I would never order from Empire again (they too 6 weeks to deliver 1 pair of shoes and a bikini! :mad: ) they draw me back in with their low prices :rolleyes:

Just ordered a concord 2mpx digital camera - it was reduced to £24.99 and using a £20 off code got it for £4.99!

There are loads of excellent bargains on womens and men's clothes (especially shoes) in the sale section, kids clothes, and electricals (a DAB clock radio at £38.99 which is £18.99 using the £20 off code - excellent to save for xmas )

I don't think I can post the code here but they are easily available on MSE. All you need is to be registered with Empire, and if your local courier is as slow as mine, patience!:rotfl:

If you do a search you will find them in the vouchers & codes board.

Also saw in the sale - a size M leather jacket for £21, some lovely trouser suits and a mobile phone in the sale (Sony Erricson J100) for £34.99 making it £14.99 :T

I've had a Concord digital camera from Empire before and to be honest it probably will be worth about £4.99.

I used Empire once to get a Timberland coat at a good price. They tried to charge me a different price to the one I was invoiced for and as the extra money wasn't in the Bank the payment bounced. They didn't send the free gift that was offered and failed to honour the discount code. I sent them by return the price I was invoiced for (I still had the email etc) and they said it wasn't enough and wanted the extra £30! They eventually sent Droyds debt collectors after me and after several weeks wrangling with them and sending them the entire documentation trace which showed that I had bought at the lower price and had it confirmed by Empire, Droyds got Empire to drop their claim and accept the £35 I was offering. This took a little over a year to resolve, they seemingly kept no record of my calls, lost my copies of documentation I sent them and even told me the coat was still a bargain at the higher price.
Wouldn't touch them again with a bargepole I'm afraid.
