bankruptcy info needed

Hi
I have just started to fill out my bankruptcy forms after being advised this would be the best option for me by a third party.
They mentioned that there are certain allowances you can have for shopping etc.
I am looking for any information that i can get as when i asked for further information from the third party she said she could do my forms for me but with a cost of £300.00 on top of the bankruptcy charge. Alot of money i think.
Thanks
Sarah

and dont pay anyone for the priveledge of filling in forms for you its a job you can do very easily yourself with the help & support of the guys & gals hereWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
hi there and welcome
you can get free advice from one of the debt charities, such as the national debtline, cccs or the cab
as phil says, absolutely no need to pay someone to help with your forms, they really aren't that complicated. you can post any queries on here. if you really don't want to do them yourself the cab can help you fill them out, but they're not that bad
as for allowances, why not post your budget up here using the link and we can see if what you've put is likely to be accepted

once completed, click format for mse and copy and paste here
good luck0 -

Hi,
I have only lived in this house since november and this is the rate they have given so am not really sure for gas and elec.
The travel i only go by bus and a month pass is £40.00.
I am on maternity leave so my prescriptions are covered for free until november so i am not sure i can put that down??
thanks0 -

i would increase gas and elec by £10 each to make sure you are covered.
what about opticians and dentists, are these free at the moment (sorry, i've not been in that situation so don't know!)0 -
My dentist is but opticians i do not believe is covered by the maternity exemption.
Do u think from my figures they will accept bankruptcy or do i have to much left over?0
