Linked Address

I am after some advice please, I just checked my Equifax credit report.
On 05/02/2004 an account was opened with Express Girfts - Studio on a "linked address" which just happens to be my sisters address where I've never lived, the current balance is £195 the default date was 29/08/2004 and the default balance was £205.
I've never lived at my sisters and never knew that was a linked address on my credit report, I've only checked with Experian before now so hadnt realised this was on there.
My credit rating is rubbish at the moment and theres defaults on my account that wont come off until September 2011.
My question is, as my sister obviously used my details without my knowledge and I now have her address on my report as a linked address when the default for this debt gets to 6 years in August 2004 will the linked address automatically disappear or do I have to remove it myself?
I'm asking because from a family point of view I'm not sure whether this is something I want to bring up but Ive never had any experience of linked addresses so have no idea whether it is something that can be easily removed if you see what I mean?
Thank you for any advice

I believe linked addresses are held for 8 years, not 6. If you request it be removed as you are not connected with that address, Equifax would probably contact the company to inform them of the incorrect data. They couldn't just remove it.
The default should fall off after 6 years though. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110
