Is this Preston’s cheapest haircut?
A barber in Fulwood is offering a new do at a snip of a price – just £2 each.
Jason Buckler, who owns Groom barbers in Conway Drive, is running the deal for the next two months.
The 36-year-old, who has been in the trade for 16 years, dreamed up the cut-price offer to attract more customers to his shop.
He said: “The way the financial situation is at the moment, people are looking for a bargain, and that’s what I’m trying to offer.
“Business is doing alright at the moment, but the idea is to inject some new customers into the shop.”
Jason, who employs two staff, decided to run the bargain-basement offer after seeing a £3 haircut at another shop in Burnley.
The price includes a regular haircut, which previously cost £7.50 – a discount of more than 60%. After the initial two months, the price may rise to £3, but Jason insists that it’s still cheaper than other shops in the city.

I have to admit, I did wonder!! My 19 yr old seems to think his hair needs cutting every 2 weeks.... so this is handy thanks
