Salary Sacrifice Scheme Nightmare!

My husband is a Door Supervisor and the company he works for has recently swapped all staff from being self employed/contractors to PAYE and made them all sign up for a Salary Sacrifice Scheme. Information was sent out prior to any changes taking effect and this week was the first time they have been payed as Employees. In the details they were sent, it catagorically stated that none of them would be worse off through joining the Scheme but this has not been the case. It would appear they have all been paid travel and meal allowance which has then been taken back by the company at a rate of 115% as the company need the extra 15% as an admin fee. This has ended up (after a lot of number crunching by me) to have left my husband £5 a week worse off! I know £5 is not a lot but over a year it soon adds up. It was also not mentioned that the Scheme could affect Tax Credits but it seems we will be worse off with them too. The employer has said that if we don't like the Scheme employment will be terminated!
Does anyone have any advice they can offer me.
Thanks
