I saw on tv

A short programme where they showed a japanese lady putting flowers between 2 sheets of paper (or it may have been material) and sort of hammering the flowers. When she opened it up, the flower patterns were lovely.
I've had a go myself but am obviously not doing it right! :o
Please can anyone tell me where to start looking for details? I've tried a few searches but no luck - your help would be much appreciated.:A

when I was a child, we had a flower-pressing kit - which basically consisted of two pieces of wood which you sandwiched toether (paper and flowers in between) using bolts and wing nuts. I would search around for 'flower pressing' on good ol' google.
