I weas gonna buy one of these.....then there was a report that came on the news about their repairs being moved from the UK to another country!!
Im kinda glad i didnt buy one now!!
How long are they asking you to wait?
is it still under warrenty?
Im asking cause....obviously you bought it as it has the large drum, maybe even a large family (by todays standerds) could you use the local laundrette and ask for receipts? Then ask dyson to cover your costs for making you wait so long on a repair?
How about your house insurance.....would it be covered on that?:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
Hi there,
My mum had a dyson washing machine for a few years there, was a great wee machine although it kept blocking for some reason. Anyway, last year her drum seized in the middle of a wash, said on the computer, drum failure. Luckily she was paying for a maintenance thing each month for 6 quid and was able to get a new lg one in currys for nothing, it cost 700quid. I think she waited 3 weeks for dyson to come out.0 -
Hi Folks,
Thanks, it looks like I'm one of a limited number then! Wait has been 3 weeks in total and they pay out 5£ a day for my laundry to be done elsewhere (but I really have to nag them).
They don't make the washing machines anymore I've got the extended warranty with domestic and general so it's nice to know they pay out if the washine machine is well and truly dead! :T
Thanks,
