Wages all wrong???

Options
My hubby was off work recently for 9 weeks. His company pay only ssp, what i cant figure out is why they have shown his monthly salary figure in in total gross pay todate?? also they have made a deduction for absence of more than he earns in a month ?? ...
I have also worked out how many days ssp he has been paid and this comes to 10 more days than he was off.

He has queried this with his line manager and two weeks later we have still heard nothing. He has been told the company financial director is dealing with it, how long is a reasonable amount of time to wait for a reply??

He also receives a monthly car allowance, this has also been deducted, it says in his contract he would receive a monthly car allowance but no mention of limitations to this.

His payslip will normally show his monthly pay regardless.

If he's not getting it it there will be a deduction of the same amount - or in this case more. Adjusting an earlier month??

Doesn't mean to say they've got their sums right - but the way of showing it is perfectly normal

    just updating ....

manager has said they have underpaid him by 8 days, and that he will need to wait till the end of this month to get the money back.

dzug .....His normal monthly wages are showing in the tax boxes at the bottom, as wages earned which he hasnt earned, therefore it means at the end of the year he is showing as earning money he didnt earn. this is my concern.

The company have not given a break down of the deductions.... is it too much to ask that we get a breakdown?
No explanation about pay showing in tax boxes either...
