Book publishing

Does anyone know of any Lottery, charity or grant which enables local people to self publish a book? I would need about £2,000.

    Someone at my writing group used lulu.com - she brought a copy in to show us - very professional (even includes an ISBN number!) and very very reasonable. It gets cheaper as you increase the number printed but I think her sole copy cost less than £10
