    Oh dear!
Must admit they did look quite basic in design and quality.
    But to have stains on!!

On a different note: Ive just received some HOBO International bags that were due by 24th May. So thats 2 weeks late. And they were ordered Beginning of May.

Youve just got to be really careful with this site. Delivery will always be slow and packaging is always very minimum.

Perhaps best to stick with famous brands from Secret Sales.

My drainaflex shoes have just been sent out today, don't even know when I was supposed to have them- I've learned it's best not to look at their original despatch date lol!

@sheervanilla- I'm shocked that you've received such a horrific bundle. I think all the ones my sis ordered are at our mums house as we speak. I may just give my mum a call and get her to open them as my sis won't be around to see them until later in the week.
Are they making you pay return postage? X

my ''due date'' (!) was 1st june and they arrived today on the 9th. and the packaging was a black plastic envelope with the dresses inside along with a delivery note.

not sure if they'll pay return delivery because they don't pick up their phones so i haven't been able to ask yet. have emailed them though. they're going to have to as the items are faulty.

fazeypie i suggest you get your mum to open the package as in case there's a problem (i hope not though) you have enough time to return them. i'm sure everything will be okay though!

I've just been down myself to check them and they are awful! They looked like a good first go for someone using a sewing machine for the first time, most definitely nothing you'd want to pay for! It looks like the kind of factory seconds tat that markets would sell on a pound rail years ago. The fabrics are cheap, the seams are all wonky, the stitching is badly done- big loops of unstitched thread hanging out in places. I can't believe secret sales would send this tat out or that g heaven would supply it to them.
I've got a fair idea that they are all like this and that's why you couldn't get through to cust service.
It certainly doesn't sound like the same shop that my sister visited, I feel really bad now for recommending them!
I'm going to be researching selling regulations now to see where we stand on getting a full refund and making them cover the cost if postage both ways seeing as they've sent out substandard clothes that aren't fit for wearing.
I bought better dresses from primark last year for messing around with the kids in the back garden!

just received my order and i am SHOCKED at the tacky horrible quality of the dresses - if you can call them that. disgusting. even primark has better quality clothes. one dress has threads coming out, one came without a belt and is uglier than sin and one is just ihavenowords.. what an absolute rip off. trying to get them on the phone - 0845 number - but you hold for 10 mins and then get disconnected!! on my third ''hold''. am mega annoyed

   I canceled my order a few days after I ordered as I decided that I actually need to save money and not keep spending it. Glad I did now!!!

sorry to hear about this.. i echo your views. absolute tat. i thought it was a joke at first! dresses can be used as dustcloths, if at all. i washed my hands after touching them! mine are on their merry way back tomorrow morning via rec delivery and i'm hanging on to that receipt!
  • The designer (Elle) weekend bag I bought finally arrived and I used it for an overnight stay. The shoulder strap kept breaking and the side has given way so it was totally not fit for purpose and I reckon their stock comes from fake designer suppliers, either that or its just a pile of pooh. I will never order anything from them again and hope to eventually get a refund for faulty goods, but won't hold my breath.

I am a size 14/16 on top and 10at the bottom. I struggle with dresses and I am 5ft 10 so basically I struggle with most clothes. Shame I need a couple of summer dresses!

I've had a couple of other things from secret sales and apart from the delivery delays, everythings been ok so far. I had some really cute Disney trainers and a jacket for my baby which are lovely. I'm just lost for words with these dresses. You'd have to have them in your hands to see just how bad they are. I just kept picking each dress up again and again because I couldn't quite get my head around how poor they all were. I may even contact g heaven and ask them what they think they are doing by supplying secret sales with this rubbish. I'd be interested to find out what their response is!
