I just received our tax bill for our new property, it's over 10 months, I've seen people on here suggest paying over 12. How do i make that happen?

Just telephone the council and ask. It's worth being mindful that not all councils allow payment over 12 months.0

They usually ask you to send it bank statements, that's what happened with me.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

We wouldn't ask for them in my authority, only a good reason why. They usually ask you to send it bank statements, that's what happened with me.
If you just received 10 instalments then you already have the payments stretched to March which is as far as any council will do without a court summons. At this point in the year they only have to give you to January.
You may get 12 payments from April to March if you ask at the start of the year but not part way through the year.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
