Argos "Honesty vouchers"

Ordered a toy pram for my daughter's birthday from Argos and they lost it in transit. Phoned them up and they dispatched another one. Meanwhile the first one turned up. Called them up to tell them (being honest!) that I now had the first one and wouldn't be needing two and got the response "Thanks for being honest we will be sending you some honesty vouchers as a thank you as most people would just keep both". Then the second one turned up and I sent it away as not required (probably went straight into the delivery man's house). Needless to say I never say head nor tail of any "honesty vouchers"! So next time I'm keeping any extra deliveries they mistakenly deliver.
Moral of the story? "honesty vouchers my ar5e!"

I'm your wife's milkman...she gave me your £10 - I used it to buy some penecillin for the nasty STD I've had for some years. :beer:0 -

To be honest (pardon the pun) I would write to Argos Head Office telling them about your experiences and that you were honest etc and were told you would be getting vouchers yet none have turned up.0

On my list of things to do this week!0 -
Remember, items that you are forced to store due to a co's mistake are liable to your personal storage charges. An additional email to their head office outlining yours will thus leave them in no uncertainty to not mess you around in future
