Yorkshire Bank Mortgage Error

Yorkshire Bank have just wrote to me saying they have reviewed my mortgage account and identified they have made an error in calculating my monthly payments on my tracker mortgate.
I have told them that in no way can I afford the new payment , they have suggested I talk to an adviser to review the situation - part of the increased payment is to make up the shortfall due to their error .... as the error was their mistake surely they should take the hit ?
I will post how my discussion goes next week , but I am sure there are quite a few people out there recieving these letters this week.
