Good Morning,

Long time lurker, first time poster :) I have recently started a DMP and although in full time employment, I am considering to take on a part time job to boost up the monthly payments I can do towards the DMP and thus be debt free faster :D

However, I am not sure what I can do in reality. I work 50% of my time from home and 50% of my time in various offices in the UK. My days in these offices are not the same on a weekly basis and not every week either. Basically some weeks I am 1-2 days away, some weeks not at all and then other weeks the whole week.

As you can see, finding something like bar/restaurant/cleaning jobs is impossible due to my job's requirements.

Is there anything someone could suggest that I could do as and when I am around? I am pretty good on the PC, good at reviewing and documenting issues/solutions/services etc, speak in addition to english another european language (english is actually my secondary language).

I would be greatful for any thoughts and suggestions.

Thank you :)

You could look at the survey sites perhaps, its doesn't earn much and takes some time to get enough for them to pay out but its a form of saving and is flexible. if you are free in evenings why not offer local baby sitting or dog walking.

Thanks Peter Pan. :) Baby sitting I am afraid is out, I am not the maternal type I am afraid and screaming kids/nappy changes etc scare the living daylight out of me.

Dog walking would be great but due to my work locations being so flexible, I couldn't garantuee any dog owner to actually be around the day they need me. And if I were to go down the route of home boarding (dog sitting) etc, I would need insurance, license and the likes and again, what would happen on the days I am not around?

With regards to the survey's, do you have any links or the likes so I could have a little look/research? I did try a google search but had a zillion hits :o

    Thanks :)

    Toluna
    You Gov
    Dooyoo
    One poll
    Valued opinions

Everyone has completely different views about all these sites, you have too see which ones work for you.

I added Dooyoo in there but it isn't a survey site, its a site where you write reviews about products and get points for doing so. Which you can exchange for amazon vouchers or cheques. Like most of the survey sites.

Just put the names into google and you should find their main sites.

There is also pinecone research which pays out £3.00 for each survey you do, but you need an invite for them. Its more exclusive you can't just join by going to the site.

Don't forget to use cashback sites when renewing your insurances or if you are buying anything online, opening any new accounts, changing your utility supplier, mobile phone contract (the list is endless!) always check to see if you can earn some cash by doing it through the cashback site.
